Arrive at the POE.
You need to cross bridge or road and arrive to U.S.A. (You do not need U.S.A. Visa to do flagpoling).
Explain to the officers in U.S.A. that you are doing FLAGPOLING because you want to apply for a Work Permit in Canada
Return to Canada with all the documents and your flagpoling paper (U.S.A. officers will provide it for you).
Upon returning to Canada, you should explain once again that you are there to APPLY for a WORK PERMIT.
Provide Canada’s officer with all your documents
Wait for further instructions and to be redirected with the corresponding officer who will be processing your documents and Work Permit
Answer all the questions, and be ready to pay the fees, once the officer approves your request.
Note: Sometimes, the POE’s have limited applications per day. You may need to repeat the same process in different location or same location in different time or day.
